A Day In Turkish

Theme: Qualitative Inquiry for Immigrant, Refugee, Detained, and Undocumented Children and Families

“A Day in Turkish 2018″ (ADIT2018) will be held at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on May 18, 2018.  The aim of the ADIT2018 is to open up a discussion platform for the development, exchange and critique of ideas on issues and trends of qualitative research in Turkey. The Academic Advisory Board will accept papers related to a wide scale of topics concerning qualitative research in Turkey. Presentations can be done both in English and Turkish.


Deadline for submission of proposals is December 1, 2017. One participant can submit at maximum two proposals, maximum one of which can be single authored.

Proposals should include maximum 150 words. The participants are expected to submit their proposals via Online Congress Submission System by selecting “ADIT2018” option. All proposals (abstracts and posters) will be sent to the members of the Academic Advisory Board for blind-review.

Relevance to the QI2018 congress and ADIT theme(s), quality of the research and originality of the ideas will be considered when reviewing submissions. Authors of successful proposals accepted by the Academic Advisory Board will be notified by February 15, 2018. Full text of the proposals must be submitted till April 2nd 2018.
